design
I am a big fan of different web colours. I'm sure others have seen some of the magnified pix of items and some of the cool colours you get. Here are some and an article I saw recently that I enjoyed.http://www.colourlovers.com/blog/2007/10/29/color-inspiration-science-microscopic-photographs/
these are the sites i frequent for color information. in no particular order:http://www.colorblender.com/http://www.colorsontheweb.com/http://kuler.adobe.com/http://www.colourlovers.com/http://colormatch5k.com/http://www.colr.org/http://beta.dailycolorscheme.com/http://www.colorschemer.com/online.htmlhttp://design.geckotribe.com/colorwheel/http://www.colorcharts.org/ccorg/http://wellstyled.com/tools/colorscheme2/index-en.html
I sent this to a buddy of mine who is a web designer/programmer who went to school for design. I thought his comments were worth posting with this. =Pthat is awesome.i heard something in a Lexus commercial (i
think it was) to the effect of design is superior to art because with
art you're creating something beautiful that anyone can interpret
anyway they'd like to whereas with design you're creating something
beautiful that everyone should interpret the same way. like marissa
mayer says, and i agree, creativity loves constraint. combining the two
ideas, design is more creative than fine art.--marcus
