Developing with jQuery by Byrd, Ken at Dallas ASP.NET UG on 6/22/2010

Another in the series of recordings that I have done for INETA Live.

jQuery makes JavaScript easy! Learn how to use jQuery in your ASP.NET applications to add client-side interactivity in a browser-independent way. After covering the basics, we'll see how to leverage the AJAX functionality built in to jQuery to interact with the server and make your web pages rock - you'll go to work the next day looking for excuses to use jQuery on your current project!

Ken Byrd is a .NET developer and mentor with more than 20 years experience designing and building client/server and web-based distributed database applications. Ken is currently working as a Senior .NET Developer with Brierley+Partners in Dallas, TX and maintains certifications as a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) and Professional Developer for Enterprise Applications (MCPD).
